Bucharest, 1988. Nela, a young profession, is taking care of her father, a former colonel in the Security, now dead. He wants the body to be used for medical research, but the university refuses, when the sale of the refrigerator is tight. Nela leaves for the province, where a school was assigned. We meet Mitică, a doctor at the local care hospital, as she does not accept compromises and full of visions and optimism.
